Since it recognizes markers for navigation, there is no need for maps or location information. In the event of sudden layout changes, routes can be easily modified by moving the markers. 【Product Features】 1. Easy setup with a unique autonomous movement control system The robot measures the distance and orientation to the installed signposts (markers) using an embedded stereo camera, controlling its movement actions (start, curve, spin turn, stop) along the route. Setting the route only requires the installation of signposts, with no complicated programming knowledge needed. Additionally, changing the route is as simple as moving the signposts. Since it does not require route tape, there is no hassle with layout change construction. 2. Versatile applications and operating environments "SIGNAS" is available in two lineups: loading and towing. While typical AGVs (automated guided vehicles) used for material transport at construction sites or logistics within factories have limited usage locations and applications, "SIGNAS" can operate in areas with steps or ramps, as well as in environments that transition between indoors and outdoors. It can be utilized for a wide range of applications tailored to the conditions of the operating environment, space, and transported items. 3. Equipped with a safety stop function It is equipped with an LRF (laser range finder) and bumper sensors to detect obstacles during movement, ensuring safe stops if there are obstructions in its path.
