When SimplePCLock is installed, login via WinRE is disabled, and protection is extended to WinRE logins. ■ Privilege Escalation Support When using as a standard user, a USB key is required to escalate privileges to an administrator user. Programs that have been escalated will forcibly terminate if the USB key is removed. ■ WinRE Activation/Deactivation via USB Key Operation It can be problematic if WinRE is disabled for maintenance purposes. No need to worry. Connecting two USB keys simultaneously will activate it (for example, connecting two keys before booting or at the login screen will activate WinRE).
