■About Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meters Ultrasonic flow meters for steam can be easily installed without any construction, allowing for the visualization of steam flow in factories and facilities where it has been difficult to implement due to the need for equipment shutdown during flow meter installation. By contributing to the visualization of steam flow and collaborating with EMS (Energy Management Systems), it supports the discovery of waste, energy conservation in factories, and the optimization of energy management.

■Application Example: Review of Operating Conditions for Boiler Equipment through Steam Flow Measurement ・Applicable Product: Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flow Meter At a certain B factory, steam flow had never been measured in the boiler equipment. Therefore, a steam flow meter was installed to investigate whether unnecessary consumption was occurring and to plan energy-saving measures. Although there was not enough space around the installation site, the sensor was mounted on the vertical piping immediately after the header. After measuring for about two weeks, it was found that there was a constant flow of 4m/h of steam even during nights and holidays when no one was present, as well as sudden large flows of steam during specific times on holidays, indicating unnecessary consumption. This allowed for a review of the boiler's operating conditions.
