For replacing existing flow meters, they can be installed without interrupting the water supply in pipes where the existing flow meter is malfunctioning and cannot be shut off. Additionally, since they operate on batteries (DC9V to DC26V), there are various applications such as temporary surveys of pipes for fire hydrants and air valves that are not usually measured, as well as the installation of flow meters in water distribution block setups.
