【Wide Area Communication via Antenna Installation (When Installed on a Building)】 By installing the antenna unit on the roof of a building, satellite communication can be achieved from indoors, inside vehicles, and underground. The antenna unit can be connected to the main unit via a LAN cable, and power is supplied to the antenna unit through the same LAN cable via PoE, making installation easy. *The 100m LAN cable is commercially available. (The standard included LAN cable for IC-SAT100M is 20m.)
Wide-area communication through antenna installation (when used in vehicles) Using the optional AH-40 (external antenna) allows for flexible vehicle installation. Replace the antenna in the antenna unit with the AH-40 and install the AH-40 on the car's roof (the RF unit is installed inside the car). By using commercially available antenna covers, the AH-40 can be installed in a less noticeable manner.
Combination with VE-PG4 (RoIP Gateway) Not only can communication occur between satellite communication transceivers, but by using it in conjunction with the VE-PG4 communication expansion unit, it can also communicate with conventional radios (such as specific low-power transceivers and simple business radios), IP radios, and IP phones. Additionally, it is compatible with VoIP communication.
