Suppressing hydrogen generation and improving the efficiency of CO2 electrolysis! An electrolysis cell that supplies liquid and gas separately.
In CO2 electrolysis, the target product is generated by supplying CO2 and H2O to the electrode and applying current. Therefore, it is necessary to form a three-phase interface consisting of the electrode, liquid phase, and gas phase. Our company has uniquely designed and prototyped an electrolysis cell that can supply liquid and gas separately to the electrode in order to properly control the three-phase interface. Additionally, by simulating and analyzing the interior of the cell, which cannot be directly measured during tests, it is possible to utilize this for more efficient redesign of the cell and establishment of electrolysis conditions. [Features] ■ Development of an electrolysis cell that supplies liquid and gas separately ■ Analysis of the distribution of substances inside the cell and the pH of the electrode *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
