As it is a GigE module, it can be used without the need for expansion such as frame grabber boards when combined with devices that have a PoE-compatible Ethernet port. Its ease of use in situations requiring cable lengths of over 10 meters is also a notable feature, thanks to the availability of LAN cables. Additionally, it supports PTP (Precision Time Protocol) functionality, allowing for time synchronization with GigE Vision(R) compatible devices on the same network to the nanosecond level.
