You can easily measure areas where you previously used a tape measure or gauge with digital display measurement. This includes cutting aluminum and woodworking materials. Digital display of rulers. Since it is magnetic, there is no miscount due to contamination from non-magnetic materials. With the SI-140PAC, you can use it immediately as long as you have AC100V power supply.
