Analog and digital output, high encoding resolution, automotive AEC-Q100 Grade 1 options available.
The AEDR-9820 series is a 3-channel reflective optical encoder that can be configured for analog or digital output, utilizing reflective technology for motion control purposes. This encoder is designed to operate in a temperature range of -40°C to 115°C, making it suitable for commercial, industrial, and automotive end applications. The automotive option is AEC-Q100 certified, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Selectable options include 2-channel differential analog with 3-channel differential digital or analog index output, or 3-channel digital differential A, B, and I outputs. The analog encoder mode of the AEDR-9820 features 2-channel differential analog output (Sin, /Sin, Cos, /Cos) and can be directly connected to available external amplification circuits. It houses an infrared LED light source and light detection circuit in a single package. Its compact size of 4.00 mm (length) x 4.00 mm (width) x 1.05 mm (height) allows for use in a wide range of small commercial applications.
