Elsyca PlatingManager is an electroplating process simulation software that accommodates various types of plating, ranging from industrial hard chrome plating to precious metal plating and plastic (resin) decorative plating. It can recreate a digital twin on the computer that reflects not only the geometry, quantity, and arrangement of the plating targets but also the shape and arrangement of the plating bath, the shape and arrangement of the anodes (electrodes), and the characteristics of the plating solution (electrolyte). This allows for the pre-simulation of plating thickness distribution and other individual characteristics and influences.

Elsyca PlatingManager addresses these challenges by balancing areas where plating tends to be excessive and areas where it is difficult to adhere. It also includes functionality for risk assessment related to copper roughness, nickel blistering, nickel exposure (chrome-free plating), and chrome burning (plating burn). Additionally, it has the capability to calculate considering the number and position of contact points, as well as the slope control of current and voltage, providing evaluation functions tailored to the type of plating. This allows for immediate visualization of these factors, enabling quick presentation of appropriate labor estimates and proposals to customers while minimizing time-consuming trial and error evaluations on actual machines, all while considering the production process.
