The "PL-SAX for Biomolecules" is an LC column used for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals in strong anion exchange chromatography with high hydrophilicity. By combining a robust macroporous styrene-divinylbenzene similar to PLRP-S with a polyethyleneimine coating that incorporates trimethylamine groups, it allows for the use of a wide range of pH and various solvents as the mobile phase necessary for the separation of biomacromolecules.
