All employees who are certified disaster prevention specialists deliver disaster prevention information once a month! Report on the "Our Disaster Prevention" event! Introducing participatory disaster prevention events in a column.
Tomorrow marks the 12th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. With March 11 approaching and awareness of disaster prevention rising, I would like to share information about the participatory disaster prevention event "Our Disaster Prevention," held on February 26 in Iitate Village, Fukushima Prefecture. During the event, we set aside a time for a simulated blackout, where participants experienced a power outage and then lit up electricity using a generator. We also conducted activities such as "food distribution" and "foot baths" using generators and storage batteries. Based on the voices of those who have actually been affected, we prepared various content, and many people participated. Company information
Our company is engaged in a variety of business activities centered around energy solutions, design, and urban development, delivering new value to society and contributing to the happiness of our customers, business partners, employees, and all people. We propose suitable energy solutions tailored to our customers' environments, focusing on small generators, solar power systems, and battery storage systems. Furthermore, we will continue to be an entity that makes society more attractive by creating new spaces and values through urban development and design, without limiting ourselves to the energy sector and from a creative perspective. We are also actively involved in social contribution activities, such as our "1.5 for the future" initiative, which delivers about 1.5% of our sales to non-profit organizations promoting the adoption of renewable energy, the establishment of "power generation stations" that supply electricity during disasters, support for the areas affected by the "Noto Peninsula Earthquake of Reiwa Year 6," and the publication of disaster prevention columns by employees who are all certified disaster prevention specialists.
