[Processing Examples of Difficult-to-Cut Materials] Polishing of SUS thin plate with a thickness of 0.3mm
We have produced special jigs to enable in-process inspections! Here are examples of polishing processing for thin materials.
We would like to introduce a case study on "Polishing processing of 0.3mm thick SUS material thin plates" conducted by Aitec Co., Ltd. A custom-made gap gauge of SUS316 measuring 100×15×0.3mm was produced. Since the material is stainless steel, magnets could not be used during clamping, so we created a specialized fixture to enable in-process inspection. Additionally, to prevent uneven thickness caused by scorching or dripping of the items, we selected grinding wheels and adjusted the cutting amount in ten-thousandths, finishing the thickness within the specified tolerances. [Case Overview] ■ Processed Product: 100×15×0.3mm SUS316 gap gauge ■ Material: Stainless Steel *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company develops two main businesses: the "Equipment Business," which handles everything from the design and manufacturing of specialized machines and equipment to installation and adjustment, and the "Parts Processing Business," which is responsible for the machining and production of mechanical components. The Equipment Business has a proven track record of designing and manufacturing equipment for various industries, including automotive, semiconductor, and pharmaceuticals. In recent years, we began operating a clean room (U.S. Federal Standard Class 100 and Class 1000) starting in May 2020. In the Parts Processing Business, we have a variety of processing equipment in-house and a network of over 200 partner factories, allowing us to produce a wide range of processed products. We can also handle procurement for items such as heat treatment, surface treatment, and units.
