Endohedral Fullerene. A carbon fullerene that contains an atom (such as nitrogen or lithium) inside its spherical structure.
The applications are wide-ranging, including semiconductor materials, supplement ingredients, battery components, solar panels, IC chips, RAM, sensors, and airplane coatings, and it can also be used in ultra-hard steel. Currently, it is being considered for use in cancer treatment and virus treatment. - It can be used as a substitute for gallium and germanium in IC chip production. - When used in solar panels, there are results indicating that a conversion efficiency of 60-70% can be achieved. - While boron is generally used in the production of ultra-hard steel, the use of fullerene allows for the manufacture of even harder materials. ★ Preparations are underway for the world's first industrial-scale production. (Production volume is being prepared to reach 700 kg/month) ★ A characteristic feature is that the raw materials can be sourced locally from commonly available materials such as coconut husks, rice husks, and corn.
