The patented IOW Group centrifugal oil separator comes standard with a sludge monitoring system (separator control unit) and features a unique bowl disc technology that was previously found in conventional large centrifugal separators. There is a proven track record of use with upgraded YANMAR 6N80L-ZN engines. As a result of installing the IOW MP200 centrifugal oil separator, which replaces the outdated FM200 centrifugal separator, the amount of sludge removed increased from 1.3 kg with the old model to 1.6 kg with the IOW oil separator MP200 over the same operating time, demonstrating a 25% improvement in efficiency.
