[Case Study] Providing Sliding Properties to Built-in Components of Camera Exchange Lenses
Application to products made of 5056 material! Introducing a case where hard anodizing was applied to enhance sliding properties.
We would like to introduce a case where we solved a problem through our anodizing process. There was a challenge from a customer regarding the sliding properties of parts built into camera exchangeable lenses. They had requested several anodizing companies but did not achieve the desired performance. By applying hard anodizing to ADC (die-cast) products, which typically have difficulty adhering to anodized coatings, we were able to impart sliding properties. This received high praise from the customer, leading to its adoption. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge - Regarding the sliding properties of parts built into camera exchangeable lenses, the customer had requested several anodizing companies but did not achieve the desired performance. ■ Process Conducted - Applied hard anodizing to impart sliding properties. - Also applied to products made of 5056 material. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
