The HG-1500 is a collinear antenna manufactured by Japan Antenna for the 150MHz band. *Collinear antennas are high-gain antennas used for radio communication, primarily in the VHF to UHF range.* This antenna is for fixed station radios. It operates on specified frequencies within 145 to 170MHz, with the model number changing according to the frequency. - 144MHz to 149MHz: HG-1500 F=144-149 - 154MHz: HG-1500 F=154 - 149MHz to 166MHz: HG-1500 F=149-166 When placing an order, please specify the frequency (fo/center frequency) in MHz that you will be using. It is a high-gain antenna with multiple radiating elements. The radiating elements are covered with an FRP material, providing excellent waterproofing and strength.
