As a countermeasure against water leakage, the joints of the steel plates are fully welded.

When welding this product, by securing it with reinforcement materials made by our company, we minimize distortion and deformation caused by welding heat. When the oil pan can only hold a small amount of coolant, we prevent water leakage by using caulking materials or special adhesives, which also helps minimize distortion from welding heat and control high stress. However, since caulking materials and special adhesives can deteriorate and peel over time, their reliability is low. Therefore, for the oil pan joints in areas where a large amount of coolant is used, as in this product, we perform full welding to enhance reliability against water leakage. The finishing of the weld bead after welding is done without grinding the welded areas, which increases trust in preventing water leakage, reduces labor, and achieves cost savings.
