The handheld moisture meter AM-III can instantly measure all types of paper and cardboard non-destructively. Even with paper rolls in the process of being wound, stacked paper, or ream paper, accurate moisture measurements can be obtained by making contact with the bottom roller of the measurement target.

High-frequency waves emitted from the roller are stored in the dielectric between the case and the roller. The moisture content is calculated from the accumulated capacitance and displayed as a percentage on the main unit's LED display. The AM-III has 11 pre-installed calibration curves for calculating moisture content, which can be switched according to the measurement target.
