We would like to introduce "New Applications of Cellulose Nanocrystals." When a suspension of carboxylated oxidized CNC is impregnated or sprayed onto fabric, it adheres to the surface of the fabric through hydrogen bonding, demonstrating deodorizing functionality without damaging the material. The oxidized CNC can be removed along with odor-causing substances during washing, allowing for repeated use of the CNC. In addition to deodorization, we are also considering applications such as coloring.
