"Liquid ceramic paint" was originally developed for the purpose of graffiti prevention. Liquid ceramic paint has excellent performance as a finishing paint for wood, featuring ultra-permeability that penetrates deep into the wood fibers while shutting out moisture and ensuring breathability. This paint possesses the unique stability, durability, stain resistance, and antibacterial properties of ceramics, as well as a finish that enhances the natural texture of the wood without forming a film on the surface, and is easy to apply evenly even for beginners. (It fully hardens in about a week by combining with oxygen in the air.) - It can enhance the hardness of soft cedar wood to a level comparable to cypress. - It maximizes the inherent characteristics and texture of the wood, leaving no painted feel as it does not create a film. - Its water-repellent properties are particularly noteworthy; cedar wood slats treated with this paint have been used in a bath for three and a half years without any mold occurring.
