Hallite 659 is designed to interfere with the piston seal groove diameter and features a secondary lip. The secondary seal lip, positioned behind the primary seal lip, enhances the stability of the seal within the piston. The outer dynamic lip is shorter and is designed more robustly to improve sealing performance and compression set characteristics compared to conventional symmetrical U-rings.
