Low-temperature processing around 380°C results in minimal distortion, while high-temperature processing at around 800°C allows for nitriding of materials like Ti. ■ Since the treatment is conducted in a vacuum, the surface obtained after processing is in a non-oxidized state, resulting in minimal reduction in surface roughness.
