Metal nitriding refers to a treatment that diffuses nitrogen atoms into the metal to improve surface hardness, with an expected lifespan increase of 2 to 3 times. "Atom Nitriding" is an innovative technology for plasma nitriding. In conventional nitriding methods, it is difficult to avoid the formation of a compound layer, necessitating the polishing removal of this layer. However, since tools and molds have complex shapes, polishing removal is challenging. This technology forms only a tough diffusion layer without creating a compound layer.
