Hallite 605 is designed to interfere with the seal housing groove and features a secondary lip. The secondary seal lip, positioned behind the primary seal lip, enhances the stability of the seal within the gland. The inner dynamic lip is shorter and, compared to conventional symmetrical U-packings, is more robust, improving sealing performance and compression set characteristics. It is molded from Hallite's high-performance polyurethane, Hythane 181, making installation easy and providing excellent low-temperature performance.
