Liquid leakage from the gap between the mixer shaft and the tank! A unique case study of problem-solving by our company.
This is an introduction to a case study where we addressed the issue of liquid leakage from a tank using a laser tracker and a 3D scanner. The investigation into the causes of productivity decline due to liquid leakage from a polymer tank has become an urgent issue, with the leakage occurring from the gap between the agitator shaft and the tank. As a result of our hearings, we determined that measurements should be taken utilizing the strengths of both the laser tracker and the 3D scanner. This led to a unique proposal for problem-solving that leverages our expertise in manufacturing, 3D measurement, handling of 3D data, and on-site measurement. [Case Overview] ■ Issue: Cause of liquid leakage from the tank ■ Industry: Chemical ■ Job Type: Maintenance and Management ■ Proposal: Conduct measurements utilizing the strengths of both the laser tracker and the 3D scanner *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
