We would like to introduce a case where a bridge breaker "Brodisk" was installed in a supply hopper for transporting calcium carbonate powder. The hopper's slope has been designed with sufficient consideration for the repose angle of the powder; however, the small size of the discharge section was suspected to be the main cause of the problem.
