Measurement Target Gas Q20 Oxygen Q21 Carbon Dioxide Q22 Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide The Q20 series analyzers feature color display, menu operation settings, calibration functions, built-in sample pumps, and data collection (up to 100,000 values). This unit combines a fast-response sensor for oxygen in a compact and lightweight package (under 1 kg), providing maximum portability and ease of use for all types of gas measurement applications. It operates on battery power and can be easily moved or transported as needed. With low power consumption, it can operate for up to 15 hours before requiring recharging (charger included). This unit is equipped with a robust miniature diaphragm pump that can be adjusted to operate only during sampling with a timing function. The Q20 series is available in several sampling inlet configurations to accommodate various monitoring applications.

The Q20 series is equipped with high-speed response sensors, making it ideal for quick and routine package testing. By using standard sample probe/needle assemblies, this unit can be used for O2 measurements in various types of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) and "gas flush" packaged foods. MAP packaging (gas replacement packaging) can be done using a single gas such as nitrogen or a mixture of gases such as nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Package analysis tests are useful for verifying whether the concentrations are correct and ensuring there are no leaks in the package. If the gas mixture is incorrect, the quality of the product may significantly deteriorate before it reaches the consumer. Gas flushing alone is not sufficient; it is necessary to test the finished product to ensure the correct gas mixture within the package.
