These substances demonstrate stability, such as heat resistance, water repellency, oil repellency, and flame retardancy, which has led to their widespread use in industrial applications like foam fire extinguishers at airports and military facilities, cooling solvents used in semiconductor manufacturing, and metal plating solutions, as well as in consumer products like non-stick frying pan coatings, water-repellent outdoor gear, and food packaging. They repel water and oil, are resistant to heat and chemicals, and do not absorb light.
