The ultrasonic composite photocatalytic water purification device "Aqua Beam®" participated in the Fisheries Agency's land-based aquaculture project. This project was conducted at a grouper land-based aquaculture facility on Izu Oshima, operated by an organization affiliated with the Fisheries Agency. It was implemented to purify the aquaculture seawater, as leftover feed and waste excreted by the grouper can lead to pollution of the seawater. The water quality purification achieved by "Aqua Beam®" was evaluated positively, noting improvements in turbidity and other parameters. The presence of various mineral components in seawater, along with the successful removal of organic substances, suggests a high potential for application in the aquaculture industry.
