Microchip's PIC64GX family addresses mid-range intelligent edge computing requirements using a 64-bit RISC-V quad-core processor with AMP (Asymmetric Multi-Processing) and deterministic latency. The PIC64GX MPU is the first RISC-V multicore solution supporting AMP for mixed-criticality systems. It is designed with a quad-core Linux-compatible CPU cluster, a fifth microcontroller-class monitor, and a flexible 2 MB L2 cache operating at 625 MHz. In the 64-bit portfolio, you can leverage Microchip's user-friendly tools and support software ecosystem, which includes a powerful set of processors that assist in the configuration, development, debugging, and certification of embedded designs.
