ELM624BA 0.9V Startup High Efficiency Synchronous Rectification PWM Boost DC/DC Converter
The ELM624BA provides a power solution for electronic devices that use 1-cell, 2-cell, or 3-cell alkaline batteries, nickel-hydrogen batteries, or 1-cell lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries. The output current varies based on the input-to-output voltage ratio; for example, it can achieve 5V/100mA output with a 1.2V input. It can start at a low voltage of 0.7V under light load. It employs a high-efficiency synchronous rectification current mode control pulse width modulation method. The output voltage can be programmed using external resistor voltage division. During shutdown, it stops circuit operation to minimize current consumption. In shutdown mode, the ELM624BA directly connects the battery input to the output, allowing the input battery to be used directly as a backup or real-time clock power source. The ELM624BA is available in a compact 6-pin SOT-26 package.
