ELM615DA 36V5A synchronous buck DC-DC converter with dual-channel current limiting function.
The ELM615DA is a high-efficiency synchronous buck DC-DC converter that can accept input voltages from 4V to 36V and incorporates two switch transistors for high-side and low-side operation. It demonstrates excellent transient response to input and load variations due to its 180kHz COT control method. The use of slew rate control and a 3kHz 6% frequency modulation spectrum spreading technique reduces unwanted radiation. The output voltage range is from 0.8V to VIN, and it can provide output currents up to 5A. It includes a circuit that compensates for output voltage drop due to wiring resistance on the output side, which is effective for USB devices and can compensate for voltage drops at the load end. Additionally, it features independent dual-channel current monitoring capabilities, allowing for overcurrent protection for two separate loads.
