Repeatedly receiving orders for ECU housing design. Ensuring reliability to be entrusted with take-home projects.
Here is a case study of problem-solving at automotive parts manufacturer Company A. Since 2016, we have been entrusted with the design of ECU main units and associated components; however, we experienced fluctuations in workload, which prevented us from receiving a stable stream of work. A significant reason for this was the continued ordering of engineers in a manner akin to designated purchasing. To address this, we established a system where work is undertaken by a team rather than relying on specific engineers, allowing us to clearly differentiate between the design and management sides and secure work. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issue: Fluctuations in workload led to an inability to receive stable work ■ Proposal: Establish a system that does not depend on specific engineers and is handled by a team ■ Results - Work was secured with a clear distinction between the design and management sides - Even after transitioning to online work, we were able to understand the development status through weekly regular meetings *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
