[Case Study] Achieved a 30-fold increase in the lifespan of end face grinding wheels compared to conventional methods!
A case where our company and our partner manufacturer teamed up to propose dramatic improvements!
We would like to introduce a case where we achieved a 30-fold extension of the lifespan of end-face grinding wheels compared to conventional methods. In the end-face processing of automotive engine parts, CBN resin bond was traditionally used, but there were challenges due to its short lifespan and the considerable effort required for replacement setup. Therefore, we proposed changing from CBN resin bond to CBN soft metal bond. The results exceeded our goals significantly, to the extent that the customer themselves suggested a price increase. [Case Summary] ■Challenges - Reduction of the effort required for wheel replacement - Reduction of running costs ■Effects - Achieved approximately 30 times the lifespan compared to conventional methods - The results exceeded our goals significantly, prompting the customer to suggest a price increase themselves. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Since its establishment in 1948, our company has steadily developed as a specialized trading company focused on precision processing systems. Despite challenges such as the bursting of the bubble economy, the Lehman Shock, and the COVID-19 pandemic, we have maintained profitable management and a strong financial foundation over the years while continuing to grow steadily. Additionally, we have established a wholly-owned subsidiary in Shanghai, China, and are expanding our business globally. We are also enhancing our technical capabilities beyond the scope of a trading company by establishing Koshou Green Engineering Co., Ltd., a construction specialist company, and a technology department focused on quality assurance. As the industry structure undergoes rapid changes and the needs of our customers and suppliers become increasingly diverse, we aspire to be a company that continues to provide solutions that our customers truly need from a global perspective.
