We own two furnaces: a 30Kg vacuum melting furnace and a 100Kg vacuum melting furnace. The 30Kg melting furnace can melt a minimum of 6Kg of ingots!
Our factory stocks over 20 types of raw materials and is committed to prompt responses. Additionally, we can customize ingredient combinations and adjustments based on customer needs. Researchers facing the following issues are encouraged to contact us: - Prototype of metal materials, so initially, a large quantity is not required. - Want to add trace components to confirm their effects. - A weight of a few kilograms per steel type is sufficient, and multiple types need to be tested. - Difficult to obtain in the market. - Arranging for forging and rolling is cumbersome, increases lead times, and handling becomes very challenging, so we would like to have a consistent prototype process. 【Features of the Vacuum Melting Furnace】 - The chamber is maintained at high vacuum using a vacuum pump, and through degassing refining, impurities in the raw materials are removed, allowing for the production of clean alloys. - Trace elements can be added, enabling the melting of various special alloys. - Ingots are available in 6Kg, 15Kg, 30Kg, 36Kg, and 100Kg. *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Aiwa Co., Ltd. Metal Division was established through a collaboration project between the Iwate Prefecture and the Tohoku University Institute of Metal Materials. It serves as the manufacturing base for the cobalt alloy "COBARION," originating from the "Iron Town" of Kamaishi. Utilizing the technical know-how gained from the development and practical application of "COBARION," we engage in the development and manufacturing of various special alloys. From material selection to melting, forging, rolling, and machining, you can rely on Aiwa Metal Division as your one-stop shop for alloy materials. We handle everything from the production of ingots using 30kg and 100kg vacuum melting furnaces to hot plastic processing with a 600-ton hydraulic press and rolling mill, accommodating small-scale prototypes and development that are difficult for major special alloy manufacturers to manage. We also have a track record of joint development of functional metal materials such as special steels, magnetic materials, resistive materials, and spring materials that are hard to obtain in the market, as well as original alloys customized for our customers. We are confident that we can be of assistance as a material developer and supplier.
