The six-axis optical fiber gyro U121D is the latest model that Fizoptika Malta started manufacturing in 2024. With a volume of 12cl and a weight of 180g, it is very compact and lightweight, yet capable of high-precision six-axis measurements. A three-axis optical fiber gyro is used for measuring angular velocity, while a three-axis MEMS accelerometer is used for measuring acceleration. It is ideal for applications such as inertial navigation systems for drones, unmanned vehicles, and remote-controlled vehicles.
