The eWROV addresses the challenges of heat dissipation, significantly expands payload space, and reduces the size and weight of electronic components. By utilizing high-voltage DC power, it achieves performance equivalent to a 250-horsepower hydraulic underwater vehicle while drastically reducing the size and weight of the cables. Unlike traditional hydraulic ROVs, the eWROV features a fully electric system that eliminates the need for large amounts of hydraulic fluid, improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact and risks.
