~Success Case of Machining a Prototype Folding Bicycle~ The client conceived, designed, and drafted the plans, while our company was responsible for the machining based on those drawings. The material used was a special aluminum supplied by the client that is not commonly available in the market. We machined parts for one complete bicycle, including the "folding main frame, wheels, forks, etc." Due to cost considerations, we processed only the requested parts without any spares. Initially, we were concerned about machining errors due to the high number of processes and the complexity of the shapes. Any machining errors would require rework, such as welding, which could lead to color changes in the reworked areas after surface treatment, resulting in defects and necessitating remanufacturing. Fortunately, we completed and delivered all parts without a single machining error. The final product achieved a balance of durability and aesthetics. This project proceeded smoothly through all stages, receiving high praise from the client. The ability to deliver without remanufacturing demonstrates our high level of technical skill. This case exemplifies our capability to handle special materials and our high-precision machining technology.
