The use of natural light has been practiced for a long time, and in Japan, shoji screens are a prime example. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in buildings that rely on artificial lighting instead of incorporating natural light during the day. The slats are highly durable and resistant to light, making them less prone to breakage and ensuring a long lifespan.
