Polyisobutylene succinimide - PIBSI - lubricant additive
PIBSI acts as a dispersant in lubricants, preventing carbon sludge washed away by detergents and soot from the combustion chamber from aggregating and accumulating in the machinery. It has the function of uniformly dispersing these solids (or semi-solid substances). The dispersant from Kangtai Lubricant Additives is made from highly active polyisobutylene produced through a thermal addition process. It excels in cleaning ability at low temperatures, oxidation resistance, and sludge dispersion, suppressing carbon deposition and coating formation on engine pistons.
