From fatigue testing to manufacturing! A case study on solving various challenges of a large press machine that operates 150,000 times.

Here is an example of a request for the design of a thin plate spring to be installed in a large press machine. The shape and dimensions of the mounting part on the counterpart side were already determined, and it was necessary to decide on dimensions that could be mounted on that counterpart while also meeting the required load characteristics. A spring for fatigue testing was manufactured based on the dimensions determined from the load data of the prototype. The results met the client's required characteristics, and regarding lifespan, it cleared 150,000 cycles in the fatigue test.
