【Lecture Overview】 In this presentation, I will introduce the overall outline of policies in the Healthcare Industry Division, along with measures aimed at the utilization of Personal Health Records (PHR) and other related initiatives. The measures for the utilization of PHR include efforts to support the establishment of PHR operator associations, demonstration projects for PHR services in medical institutions and everyday settings, the "Basic Guidelines on the Handling of Health Checkup Information by Private PHR Operators" formulated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as projects related to the development of PHR services that contribute to prevention and health promotion and the establishment of evidence.
