basic information
**Lecture Overview** As companies engage in business activities, efforts toward carbon neutrality (CN) are becoming increasingly important. One strategy for achieving CN is the growing adoption of corporate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for procuring renewable energy electricity. In addition to on-site PPAs, which involve installing solar power generation equipment on the roofs of consumers to supply electricity, there is also an increase in off-site PPAs and virtual PPAs. In this seminar, we will explain each type of corporate PPA and discuss the troubles and responses that arise in the development, acquisition, and operation of renewable energy power plants for corporate PPAs, referencing recent court cases. We will also provide a detailed explanation of the various contractual clauses of corporate PPAs and mention the upcoming revisions to the technical criteria of RE100. **Lecture Items** ■ Corporate PPA ■ Troubles and responses in the development, acquisition, and operation of renewable energy power plants ■ Various contractual clauses of corporate PPAs ■ Proposed revisions to the technical criteria of RE100 ■ Related Q&A ■ Business card and information exchange session
