【Lecture Overview】 The law promoting a smooth transition to a decarbonized growth-oriented economic structure (GX Promotion Law) came into effect on June 30, 2023, leading to the introduction of a carbon pricing system and significant investments totaling 20 trillion yen over ten years. This GX trend has a substantial impact on the biofuel and biomass power generation sectors. On the other hand, to achieve the essence of GX promotion, which is the transition of economic and social structures and industrial structures, it is crucial for individual players to create new market value and capture demand.
