Capture the movement of a scene in an instant at ultra-high speed.
What is an Event-Based Vision Sensor (EVS)? When capturing a ball, traditional frame-based image sensors output the entire image of the ball and background at fixed intervals determined by the frame rate. In contrast, an event-based vision sensor captures only differential data, allowing it to track the trajectory of a moving ball with very high temporal resolution. The Event-Based Vision Sensor (EVS) detects changes in brightness asynchronously at each pixel and outputs only differential data by combining this with coordinate and time information, achieving high-speed, low-latency data output. By utilizing this functionality in recognition processing systems, it can enhance the efficiency of data provision, making it ideal for various applications in industrial fields such as high-speed moving object detection, in-device monitoring, motion detection analysis, and image recognition. [Examples of Applications] • Motion monitoring, vibration monitoring, and frequency analysis for predictive maintenance • High-speed counting • Homogeneity measurement and evaluation • High-speed positioning, guidance, and fitting for pick-and-place • Fluid dynamics monitoring and continuous process monitoring of liquid flow
