The new uEye Live camera, equipped with an Ambarella SoC, enables video streaming, video encoding, and event recording for industrial process monitoring tasks without the need for a PC or application programming. The camera, featuring a GigE interface, is designed for standalone operation. A total of three parallel streams are available, supporting both H.264 and MJPEG over HTTP, allowing images to be displayed directly in a web browser without the need for plugins or third-party software. The RTSP protocol enables standard integration of H.264 streams into existing tools and applications. The camera can be easily integrated into machine control systems using a web-based REST API.
