FEMFAT break extension module: Calculation of static safety factor
FEMFAT break
It is possible to calculate the emotional safety factor considering stress gradients, material ductility, dimensional effects, temperature, local material properties, and surface residual stresses.
FEMFAT break is the only module within FEMFAT that is not used for analyzing fatigue strength. It is an extended module that calculates the safety factor against "fracture or yielding" of structural components that undergo local plastic deformation and fracture or yield. FEMFAT break can be integrated with FEMFAT basic or FEMFAT max. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.*
