【Lecture Overview】 Under the proposed European ELV regulations, there is almost no supply or use of recycled plastics in automobile manufacturing, raising concerns about the impact on Japanese companies with global supply chains. To utilize recycled materials in automobile manufacturing, it is necessary to expand the distribution of high-quality recycled materials, and building a recycled material market that is still not sufficiently developed in our country is an urgent issue. In this context, it is essential to not only respond to the immediate European regulations but also to strongly promote the transition to a circular economy in the automotive recycling sector by implementing effective measures aimed at enhancing resource recovery.
