Reusing apple pomace! Utilizing it as a high-value supplement feed ingredient to improve the health and meat quality of cattle.
We would like to introduce a case study on the implementation of the "Redox Master Dryer" at JA Aoren. Using this dryer, we dried apple juice pomace and processed the dried residue into high-functional livestock feed that improves the health of cattle, as well as raw materials for bioplastics. By drying the apple pomace, which was previously disposed of at a cost, we can now provide it to feed companies as high-quality, high-value-added feed. 【Case Overview】 - The drying process can be conducted at low temperatures below 100°C, resulting in significantly lower running costs for the drying process. Additionally, by utilizing the heat source from the existing boilers in the factory, further cost reductions in the drying process are achieved. - The weight is also reduced, making transportation easier, and it is possible to significantly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide generated during the drying and transportation processes of the apple pomace. - The dried apple pomace has a moisture content of 12.5% or less, allowing for long-term storage of this residue. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
